THE WORKSHOP
Sapinecchio is the name of an old farmhouse situated on the hills of Romagna, distant a few miles from the sea and the mountains of the Apennines.
The founder of this building was a priest who used it as his home and as a parish. In fact, a now deconsecrated small church, where are permanently exhibited Roberto Giordani’s sculptures, and the rectory next to it where the participants will be accommodated, are part of the structure.
The passion for photography and, above all, for the production wrought iron, represented the days of this priest, who we like to think has left a charge of positive energy in this place, a source of inspiration.
A few years ago, Roberto Giordani, lead by fate and a firm determination decided to take possession of the area and to make it his own place to live and work.
The beautiful location makes it a perfect place to spend a pleasant stay and to have a working and educative experience.
The structure is able to accommodate local or international students and professionals for internships, seminars, artistic events of different disciplines and training courses of various kinds.

Many events have already been held in " Sapinecchio, house of art ": the execution of iron sculptures, forging performances, the reduction of iron ores, and courses of design and realization of works intended for public and private spaces .
Other events are being planned: some already tested, others made of new concepts but all of them will be carried out in an atmosphere of conviviality and friendship, with the values of professionalism, experience and sharing.
