SCULPTURE PLANNING COURSE
The course is mainly based on the acquisition of the fundamental knowledge of design, the study of the location where the sculpture will be placed and the realization of a scale model of the project you want to accomplish.
The lessons will develop through the following guidelines :
- Perspective drawing of the sculpture, including views from different observation points .
- Environmental study based on the prospects regarding the placement of a sculpture in relation to the different types of architecture of the host sites .
- Measurement and conversion in scale
- Orthogonal drawing in full view
- Finding the most appropriate operative technique for the realization of the sculpture.
-Model building
The course will take place within a well-equipped and spacious laboratory and all the tools and materials, with the necessary equipment will be provided by the organizers.
The course will last for about 40 hours that can be sorted in the following two ways:
- A single period of “full immersion” with the teacher and other students.
- Or divided into weekend of prearranged duration.
