Giovanni Rotondo was born on November 1964 in Rosolini, a small town in the south of Sicily.
From an early age he learned the basics of forging and tempering at his father’s workshop.
In 1980 he attended a vocational training institute where he learned the different techniques of metal soldering.
From 1986 to 1992 he worked in the petrochemical industry as a welder; this allows him to broaden his professional knowledge.

Since 2003 he began his job as a sculptor.
He is married and has a son.
Today Giovanni Rotondo lives and works in Rosolini.
He has exhibited his works in several cities in Italy and abroad, obtaining a great success everywhere.
His sculptures are part of important private collections.
