FRANCA ROSSI - FORGING COURSES

Franca Rossi, born in 1944 in Cesena, began his artistic career by attending art workshops where she acquired the first important notions of art, sculpture and ceramics.
She consolidates her education by participating in biennial courses of sculpture; in particular it’s decisive the seminar of the master of the Art Institute of Faenza Giovanni Cimatti, who helpes her to find her  expressive dimension in the Raku technique.
The artistic journey continues with seminars held at the studios of master Calandrini and Rolli of Deruta, and with renovated techniques’s experimentation such as:
Raku, Naked Raku, Sweet Raku, Raku copper matte, pit fired pottery and Saggar firing, Villanovan’s ceramics techniques, Bucchero’s ceramic techniques, ceramics with arabic reflections II and III fire.
It has long been committed inside the Hedgehog Cultural Association.
