Forging is one of the most ancient activity practiced by the human kind. In every age, in every furnace, metalworking was used to forge weapons, plows and decorative items and it followed the same principle that consist in making malleable metal with the heat to allow its working and shaping in different forms.

Our forging course specifically concerns the production of decorative items derived from a single element.
The pliant modification of a single piece of metal will be operated through the following phases:
_An accurate choice of the piece of metal, in respect of the figure that the student wants to create.
_ Definition of the stages of working
_Suitable heating techniques
_Cutting techniques and subdivision of the single element
_Hot metal shaping
_Finishing and possible surface treatments
The teaching method follows the technique learned from the master Angelo Bartolucci, which has been developed independently by Roberto Giordani through his own experience and artistic sensitivity.

The course will take place within a well-equipped and spacious laboratory and all the tools and materials, with the necessary equipment will be provided by the organizers.

The course will last for about 40 hours that can be sorted in the following two ways:
- A single period of “full immersion” with the teacher and other students.
- Or divided into weekend of prearranged duration.
