BIOGRAPHY

Alessandro Fabrizi was born on 17 may 1973, in Cesena.
From an early age he took an interest in manual work with wood and metals thanks to his grandfather Giuseppe and his neighbour Elio, a retired blacksmith.
In 1992 he graduated as a mechanical engineer in a technical-industrial vocational Institute in Forlì.
After high school, although he attempted to enter university, he decided to stop  and take a vocational training as a draftsman and Cad designer.
His first job was as a warehouse worker and a machinery’s responsible at a local firm that provided nautical equipment; he then moved to another firm where he specialized in carpentry and assembly.
After a couple of years he started a job as mechanical designer: he drew parts for farming machines, then fruit processing implants and then he programmed machines for cutting sheet metal (pantographs oxy-fuel, plasma and laser.
His current job as a turner- prop handler sees him engaged in the construction  and maintenance of various kind of stamps and calendering. Over time he grew an interest for metalworking. 22 years ago he got involved with Damascus steel; in Italy only few people dealt with it at the time, so the news were scarce
